Why Chose Torah
Introduction
We are in the days of the final end time restoration of all things. Ezekial 37
What Restoration?
1. Our Father Abraham – Genesis 17
2. Abraham’s Heirs-Abraham, Isaac and Jacob/Israel, the 12 Tribes-Gen 26:3, Gen 35:10,11. Gen 49:28
3. The Olive Tree of Israel
a. Jeremiah 11:10
b. Revelation 22:16
4. Ephraim = The House of Israel- Christianity which includes the 10 lost tribes and the nations. Ephraim has been blinded to their Hebraic Roots, but faithful to Yeshua the Messiah
5. Judah= The House of Judah-Judaism- Tribe of Judah (Judah & Levi). Blinded to their Messiah, but faithful to Torah.
Jeremiah 11:16-17 and Romans 11:13, 17
Ephraim needs to return to their
Hebraic Roots and return to Torah and
Judah needs to accept Yeshua as Messiah.

“There are two MAJOR
disagreements between the two houses of Israel (Christianity and Judaism). These two major disagreements are the role
of the Torah in true Biblical worship of the God of Israel and who is the
Jewish Messiah (Mashiach). In spite of these two disagreements, both houses of Israel have been used by the God of
Israel to preserve the following two very important truths within the Kingdom of
the God of Israel. Judaism (house of
Judah) has preserved the truth that the Torah is eternal and is the Tree of
Life given by the God Israel.
Christianity (House of Israel)
has preserved the truth that Yeshua/Jesus is the Jewish Messiah (Mashiach).
II. What Torah Is
The word “Torah” is from
the Hebrew root , Yara which means “to shoot”, such as
shooting an arrow in order to hit the target. The emphasis of the root is on “hitting
the mark”. Thus, Torah is teaching that “hits the mark” concerning
God and His righteousness.
In this,
the word is the opposite of one of several Hebrew words for sin, hata,
which means “to miss the mark”.
Notice that in this definition, the Torah is not
“law”. Although it does contain laws, Torah itself is not law, but instruction.
On a spiritual level, therefore, the word “Torah” has come to mean Yahweh’s
“teaching” and “instruction”.
III.
Torah is HaYesod “The Foundation”
•
Torah- God’s teaching and instruction-
means “LIFE”-that which leads you to life or how to live life correctly in
holiness- to be Kadosh/Holy as He is Kadosh/Holy. In Hebrew thought - it is
called “The Spirit”. Torah is Life.
